While the title would lead you to believe that ALA is web magazine entirely about web design for web designers, they have a variety of other interaction-design related articles; everything from code and content to user science and culture.
I find them particularly helpful for finding and implementing best practices in designing websites.
SawDust is a neat site that showcases all sorts of graphic design and illustration work: print, identity/logo design, music, packaging and more. There is a lot of great work here.
Under Consideration is a really comprehensive website with several sections devoted to different design topics. I especially like "the design encyclopedia" (very useful for students) and the "brand new" sections.
I have found this design directory very useful for all of us.
The great thing about this website is, it does not only contain information about packaging design, graphic design ,branding etc ,but also website portfolio of the designers/design firm.
